Delivery
Most items will be dispatched within 5 working days. As
stock levels vary by season, in extreme circumstances please allow up to 15 days
for dispatch. If your order is urgent and required sooner, please contact us.
An
additional allowance of five days should be made for personalised items with engravings.
For special orders and non-standard products: prices for these items and delivery details
will be quoted for at the time of acknowledgement of the enquiry unless
otherwise specified.
A
finger-size measuring gauge is supplied with the primary order for use to
recheck finger size and for use with further purchases from us.
For orders dispatched to UK addresses Royal
Mail’s Special Delivery Service will deliver all orders with a value of £25 or over and Royal Mail's Recorded Delivery Service for orders with a value under £25. Swift Air or another similar courier will be used to dispatch orders to Ireland, Europe and the rest of the World. This will
require a signature upon receipt; do not worry if no one is in when they try to deliver as the courier
will leave a note regarding alternative collection / delivery arrangements.
dotjewellery.com will only deliver parcels to the purchasing credit / debit card holder’s address and
on delivery the parcel will require a signature. We will
not be held responsible for the parcel if it is signed for by anyone other than the card holder. Other
methods of payment are available for delivery
to a different recipient or different delivery address. However, dispatch will
not occur until full payment or confirmation of cheque clearance is received.
For the avoidance of doubt, time shall not be of the essence in respect of delivery of your purchases.
We shall be under no
liability for any delay in delivery or non-delivery due to circumstances beyond
our control.
If
the parcel / product is lost or found to be damaged upon receipt then Royal
Mail and dotjewellery.com
must be informed without
delay and any damaged item(s) returned to us for replacement. See below for our
Returns Policy.

Packaging

items will be packed in a dotjewellery.com
branded presentation jewellery box and suitably packaged to prevent
damage in transit.
All
returned items must be sent in original presentation box and wrapped
in protective packaging to prevent damage during return transit along with all
attached documentation and paperwork. This is the customers’ responsibility.

Returns
Policy
In
the event that any product ordered does not fit the recipient, such item may be
returned to us in its original unworn condition within 14 days immediately after the date of the relevant
signed delivery receipt and exchanged for an identical or alternative product of a different size.
Alternatively, if you are dissatisfied with your purchase you may return it to
us in its original unworn condition (trying for size excepted) within 14 days
immediately after signed receipt date. When we have received the item(s) we will
refund you the full cost of product(s) but not the cost of postage. You are
liable for postage and insurance costs back to
dotjewellery.com
using the recommended method of postal return, as below. It would be helpful in
developing our Customer Care if you would enclose a note regarding your reason
for return.
For
hygienic and health and safety reasons all jewellery designed for body piercing, such as earrings will not be accepted
for return.
Any
item which has been specifically personalised, such as engraved dates, names or
any other form of text or symbols or bespoke design, will not be eligible for
the same return policy as other non-personalised items. This equally applies to
outsize rings and those made to special order. (Outsize rings are those that
fall outside the range listed in the appropriate individual product size
dropdown).
If
the parcel / product is lost or found to be damaged upon receipt by you, i.e.
whilst in transit, then both the Royal Mail and
dotjewellery.com
must be informed without delay and any damaged item(s) returned
to us for replacement within seven days immediately after the date of the
relevant signed delivery receipt. dotjewellery.com
shall not be deemed in breach of its obligations provided replacement
products have been supplied.
Although unlikely, should an item fail to correspond with specification or show
a defect in material or workmanship we will gladly exchange or refund on return
of the faulty product(s) within twelve months from delivery.

will use its own discretion in replacing these damaged goods and
we will not credit or replace items that have been ill treated or suffered
damage through normal wear and tear or where an attempt to repair has been made by any third party.
Before returning any product(s) you must contact the sales office to obtain a return number, which must be clearly marked on the back of the parcel. The returned product(s) must be date receipted, must be sent in original presentation box and wrapped in protective packaging to prevent damage during return transit along with all documentation and paperwork. This is the customer’s responsibility. It is the customer’s responsibility for appropriate insurance cover to be obtained when returning goods to dotjewellery.com and the use of Royal Mail’s ‘Special Delivery’ is strongly recommended for returns on mainland Great Britain and the use of an equally reliable courier service when being returned from elsewhere. Please remember the goods belong to you until we receive them.

specification at the time of delivery and will be free from defects in material
and workmanship for a period of twelve months from delivery. This warranty is
given subject to the following conditions:

shall be under no liability in respect of any defect in the products
arising from any specification or instructions by you or errors or inadequacies
in the same;
(b)

shall be under no liability in respect of any defect arising from fair
wear and tear, wilful damage or alteration or repair of products without our
approval;

above warranty does not extend to products not manufactured by dotjewellery.com
in respect
of which you will only be entitled to the benefit
of any
such warranty or guarantee as is given by the manufacturer to
dotjewellery.com.
Subject as expressly provided in these Terms and Conditions, and except where
products are sold to a person dealing as a consumer (within the meaning of the
Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977), all warranties, conditions or other terms
implied by statute or common law are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by
law in respect of any products supplied by

Where
we have replaced defective products or products failing to meet specification,
or refunded to you the price of such products (or a proportionate part of the

shall have no further liability to you.
Except in respect of death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or
liability for defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987,

shall not be liable to you by reason of any representation (unless

the supply of products (including any delay in supplying or any failure to
supply products in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or at all) or
their use or re-sale by you and the entire liability of

be liable to you by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform,
any of its obligations in relation to the products, if the delay or failure
